The handheld multimedia guide, produced by Antenna International, has been developed to complement the National Gallery's major new exhibition 'Making Colour', which is currently open in London until 7 September 2014.

The device features an audio narration and interactive interface linking through to images, films and interviews, to help visitors learn more about the art on display.

A fragment of Roger Hiorns’ Seizure, 2008 is included in the exhibition. As visitors stand in front of the work, they hear a short description by curator Caroline Campbell. They then have the option to view images of the work in situ, as well as watch a film excerpt from the Arts Council Collection.

Commissioned by Artangel and the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, the original installation saw an abandoned London council flat ‘seized’ by a growth of electric blue crystals. Roger Hiorns created the mesmerising piece by pumping 75,000 litres of liquid copper sulphate into the empty dwelling.

Seizure is shown alongside artworks and objects spanning hundreds of years which explore how artists have experimented with colour pigments and dyes.
