The Artimage Licensing team were delighted to work closely with Phaidon on behalf of The Keith Arnatt Estate, to license Keith Artnatt's Trouser - Word Piece, 1972 for 500 Self Portraits. The team ensured the whole licensing process was smooth and easy, and that Phaidon attained all the rights and permissions necessary.

The licensing fees we collect always go back to the artist or estate.

Self-aware

Phaidon is the premier publisher of the creative arts globally and 500 Self Portraits, which was originally published over 80 years ago, has been newly updated in this new edition with contemporary portraits that include Artimage patrons Gilbert & George and Douglas Gordon. These 500 self-portraits are accompanied by essays by Julian Bell and Liz Rideal.
